Swim Instructor (Summer 2025)

We provide swim instruction to our community that builds confidence and develops safety skills in a student-centered environment. We are committed to training our staff to teach swim lessons, giving them the tools they need to be successful.

This role is specifically hiring for a summer instructor that will teach at our clients' backyard and neighborhood pools. This role is part time and seasonal, with the opportunity to switch to teaching at our indoor year round location in the fall if interested.

Responsibilities:

• Make sure everyone is safe.
• Respect students while teaching them to swim.
• Be a team player who is consistently dependable and reliable. Always arrive early to your lessons and make sure you have reliable transportation.
• Develop and maintain positive rapport and relationships with our swim families, students and team.
• Complete required on-going training and be a continual learner.
• Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs, abilities, and comfort of each student.
• Smile and have fun during your entire shift.

Qualifications:

• Caring and compassion for children and adults
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
• Strong communication skills
• Great attitude and willingness to be coached
• The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to commit to a full summer of employment, afternoons and evenings required

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
