SWIM USA is a designer and manufacturer of women's swimwear located in the Lehigh Valley/Easton area. We are 85 years young and seeking a dynamic Inventory Control Manager to join our team.
Job Summary
This Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for managing Swim USA Inventory within our 3PL distribution network. The Inventory Manager is expected to implement policies, objectives, and initiatives that maximize inventory management efficiency. The Inventory Manager position requires skills and experience that are specifically focused on inventory control management of several thousand SKUs within our 3PL Distribution Network.
This position will be an integral component of the Operations Team and must provide accurate details of on-hand inventory, inventory in-transit, and research inventory issues as needed utilizing our approved inventory control guidelines.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
Working Condidtions: Office setting and at times warehouse condidtions.
Physical Demands: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to climb stairs often; sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the inventory control and cycle count processes for all Distribution Centers.
- Works in multiple systems to facilitate inventory in-balance, review, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Develop new reporting techniques to improve inventory accuracy, Cycle Count KPI's and root cause analysis.
- Develop inventory counting strategies with 3PL partners to ensure that cycle count targets for inventory accuracy are met each month and year.
- Monitor adjustments between perpetual inventory and 3PL WMS Inventory Reports
- Review inventory reports daily and perform detailed analysis of item history if necessary.
- Perform inventory adjustments with variance analysis as needed.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- Possess a proven track record and knowledge of successful inventory control practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with a high-volume of SKUs with solid follow through.
- Capable of organizing vast amounts of data, conducting research, and identifying variances and issues.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and the ability to establish working relationships with all DC teams and members.
- Critical-thinking skills to establish action plans and routinely assess their effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work accurately from both written and verbal instructions.
- The ability to listen to symptom descriptions, to analyze problems and to resolve effectively.
- The ability to navigate through Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners.
- Intermediate or higher skillset in Excel creating reports, utilizing V-Lookup and other available tools.
- Possess effective and concise verbal and written communication skills, English/Spanish Bi-Lingual preferred.
