SwimKids in Sandy, UT is looking to hire a seasonal, part-time Swim Instructor / Swim Teacher to provide one-on-one swimming lessons for kids. Are you a high-energy individual? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SWIM INSTRUCTOR / SWIM TEACHER
As a Swim Instructor / Swim Teacher, you are excited to work with kids in the pool! You work one-on-one with children or in small group settings to help teach swimming and safety. Friendly and personable, you communicate regularly with parents to keep them updated on their student's progress levels. With a patient and calm demeanor, you take extra time helping resistant students to overcome their fears. You enjoy interacting with a variety of people throughout your shift and feel good about the part you play in helping children to be safer in the water!
QUALIFICATIONS
A swim background is not necessary, as we will train you! Are you friendly, enthusiastic, and optimistic? Can you work effectively in a loud, fast-paced environment? Do you want to work with kids in a fun setting? If yes, you might just be perfect for this entry-level aquatic position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is a great opportunity for teens ages 16 years and up and others who are interested in an exciting part-time position. The season runs from June 10th-August 2nd and is Monday-Thursday 7 : 45am-1 : 15pm. This position starts with training at one of our indoor facilities before transferring to our outdoor Sandy pool. There may be an opportunity to transfer to one of our indoor, year-round locations after the season ends!
