What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Swimming Pool Discounters?
The warehouse associate will perform an array of functions on a daily basis. Primary responsibilities will be organizing items in warehouse, loading above ground swimming pools and accessories onto pallets for shipping. Load/unload in/outbound trucks shipping products to customer locations; ship and receive inventory; Perform additional warehouse/delivery duties as necessary.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
· Receive all inventory at warehouse and check merchandise for accuracy and damage.
· Assist in preparing inventory for delivery, pulling items, placing on pallets or in customer's vehicles.
· Prepare/wrap items for shipment to customers
· Accurately load trucks ensuring that freight is protected/secured.
· Maintain safe and clean work environment at all times.
· Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Essential
· Able to work independently/self-motivated to complete daily task with minimal supervision
· Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs on a regular and frequent basis
· Capable of using a fork truck/tow motor/pallet jack or other material handling equipment to load and unload large pieces of equipment in a safe manner
· Ability to multi-task work in a warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
