ROLE SUMMARY
The Swimming Simply Adult Swim Lesson Coordinator is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of our adult swim lesson programs. This role involves the scheduling and customer service for the program, ensuring that adults are matched with the best adult program, instructor, location and time for their needs.

Remote or Swimming Simply location (if internal candidate)
SCHEDULE
This is between a 3-6 hour a week commitment. Evening and weekend work may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Management
- Manage class schedules and ensure optimal utilization of pool time and resources.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
- Track participant enrollment and progress.
- Instructor Management
- Support training and supervision of swim instructors.
- Provide feedback to instructors.
- Schedule instructors and ensure adequate coverage for all classes.
- Conduct semi-regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Customer Service
- Respond to inquiries from prospective and current participants.
- Handle registration and payment processes.
- Address participant concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of participant information.
- Administrative Tasks
- Order and maintain equipment and supplies, as needed
- Coordinate with other Swimming Simply staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in swim instruction or program coordination.
- Current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of adult swim techniques and training methods.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years of teaching and coaching adult swim lessons
- 5 years of coordinating and managing swim lesson programs
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of coordinating and managing ADULT swim lessons programs
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight
- Must be able to stand on deck and in the water for long periods of time
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
COMPENSATION
$26-31 / hour depending on experience

Angie Peluse founded Swimming Simply in 2021 when she struggled to find swim lessons for her own kids that provided excellent coaching and a superior team environment. She deeply believes that everyone can swim and with great coaching, can find joy in the water.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
