Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming skills in accordance with the Swimtastic SwimLabs curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
- Drive long-term enrollment through consistent communication, providing continuous, positive feedback to students and parents regarding their swimming progress.
- Create a vision for parents to understand where the lessons are leading and provide constructive feedback, adapting your teaching style to suit the students’ needs.
- Conduct administrative duties such as filling out quarterly progress reports and updating parents on their swimmers’ progress.
- Stay current on certifications by attending in-service training and additional supplemental training courses.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work a minimum of 2 re-occurring shifts. Typical maximum is 4 re-occurring shifts.
- Available shifts are: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 3:45pm-7:30pm. Tues/Wed 8:45-11:45am. Sat 8am-Noon. Sun 9:30am-1:30pm.
- Have a friendly personality and possess strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working with children.
- Ability to maintain regular, dependable attendance and be punctual.
- Red Cross Lifeguard certified already? That is extra preferred but not required as we will provide training.
- Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the US.
