Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develop pre-construction proposal/bid schedules
- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of master project schedules
- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of subcontractor schedules
- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in updating schedules
- Perform schedule analysis for change orders and claims
- Assist in claims preparation and analysis
- Develop scheduling department procedures
- Train field personnel in scheduling procedures
- Prepare “as built” schedules
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
- Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years project engineering experience
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction methods and processes
- Construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path Method
- Familiarity with job cost information
- Computer skills
