Job Description :

We are Hiring Immediately for a Construction position in an exciting warehouse facility!

We are looking for an experienced carpenter to enhance our efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities :

  • Rough carpentry : Framing and structural work.
  • Finish carpentry : Trim, moldings, and detailed finishes.
  • Punch-out work : Completing final tasks and repairs.
  • Measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, or rule to lay out work.
  • Cut or saw boards, timbers, plywood, or metal to required size, using correct tool.
  • Study blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions of structure or form to be constructed.
  • Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of structure, using bolts, nails, or screws.
  • Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, or woodworking machine.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Peers.

Requirements :

  • Performs a variety of rough and finished carpentry work
  • Performs skilled mill, cabinet, crateing, or encasing work involving construction, finishing, and repairing of buildings, doors, and other building related items.
  • Builds forms, operates planers, shapers, jointers, lathes, handsaws, and other woodworking machinery.
  • Maintains tools and machinery in safe and efficient operating condition.
  • Prepares drawings and sketches of construction and repair projects.
  • Estimates costs and orders materials needed.
  • May assist in cement work, and other outside or warehouse maintenance work
  • May be required to work in other areas on a temporary basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
