We are hiring an Employment Tax Analyst for a HYBRID role in Nashville!

Details :

  • 26 per hour pay rate
  • Full Time
  • Contract - 3 months
  • Hybrid in Nashville (at least 1 day in office per month)

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred (Accounting)
  • Knowledge of Employment Tax Laws
  • General Ledger and Intercompany Accounting
  • Tax Compliance Expertise
  • Analytical Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Proficiency in Infor / Lawson Payroll System and / or BSI a plus
  • Experience with LtTax, Printview Plus, Business Objects and / or NoticeNinja
  • BNA or CCH tax research databases

    • Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and file state unemployment, withholding, disability, and specialty employment taxes
  • Allocate tax liability expenses and credits to appropriate facilities via journal entries
  • Analyze and resolve tax assessment notices promptly
  • Maintain and update tax assessment notice database for accurate reporting
  • Build strong relationships with PSC Analysts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal control standards
  • Apply for state and local withholding accounts for new entities
  • Prepare and file regulatory reconciliation forms, addressing discrepancies
  • Complete and transmit unemployment tax returns to jurisdictions
  • Reconcile W-2 reports, resolve discrepancies, and submit state W-2 records
