Large National Healthcare organization is hiring a Hybrid System Administrator to work onsite in Louisville 2-3 days per week. Business hours but potential on-call support.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Server Administrator to join our team. In this role, the candidate will administer, maintain, and optimize the server infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and adherence to industry best practices. They will work closely with other IT staff and internal stakeholders to provide reliable and secure server services that suppor business needs.
Technical Proficiency : Intermediate expertise in managing Linux & Windows server infrastructure (on-premises & Cloud), Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
2. Problem-Solving Skills : Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues under pressure.
3. Process and Security Focus : Strong adherence to ITIL frameworks, documentation practices, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Administration and Maintenance : Oversee the efficient functioning of internal application servers and ensure their optimal performance.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
Monitor server health, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to prevent downtime.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect server assets and data.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure compatibility and integration of new server deployments.
