Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a warehouse setting.
Work Schedule:
The selected candidate will work a 12-hour rotating shift, either from 6pm-6am or 6am-6pm.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack products accurately on/off trailers and to/from designated areas of the facility.
- Move materials around the facility using pallets and crates.
- Stack loads in correct storage bays, following inventory-control instructions.
- Complete forms and handle documentation.
- Inspect machinery to determine need for repairs, and ensure safety by performing regular maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports of issues.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift, with comfort working at heights.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification to operate forklifts (e.g., OSHA in the US).
- Experience working with heavy machinery.
- Strong abilities in mechanical testing and implementation.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting consistently.
- Language fluency (speaking, reading, writing) for the location of employment.
- Ability to understand codes and fill out forms correctly.
Orientations and Training:
Orientation takes place on Mondays from 6:45am-3pm. Candidates must pass a written exam in English covering safety rules. Two weeks of training occur on the first shift (7am-3pm, Mon-Fri) in West Branch, followed by the scheduled shift.
