We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inbound Logistics Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Inbound logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Work Address: Duluth, GA 30096
- Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Contract Period: 1 Year
- Preparation of ocean import shipments and distribution of Import Documents
- General business support function as assigned
- Prepare ocean import shipments for assigned customers. This may include customs clearance, updating schedule report, tracking vessel schedule etc.
- Prepare ocean import documents for distribution to the brokerage department and/or Customers Broker
- Coordinate pick-up and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, steamship line and/or bonded facilities to obtain necessary information in order to process shipments in the best way.
- Filing and data entry.
- Issue freight bills and invoices to brokers and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit term.
- Collaborate with the team to support various tasks and projects as needed by the company.
- Minimum of 2 years of Freight Forwarding Experience and 1-year direct drayage experience
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
- Computer skills including expert at MS Office.
- Familiar with Steamship line website, schedule
- Knowledge of international commerce (Incoterms, method, customs regulations etc.) desirable
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary
- Should demonstrate a willingness and ability to quickly adapt to and learn new computer systems and software
