Marketing Email Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to manage the day-to-day execution of email campaigns that support marketing and business goals. This role is heavily focused on hands-on execution, including email coding, testing, list management, segmentation, deployment, deliverability management, and performance reporting.

Must have a deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and a strong technical grasp of email marketing best practices.

Contract Length: 6 months

Pay Rate: $45-$54/hour

Hours: Up to 40 hours/week depending on business needs. Flexibility needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy multiple email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Code responsive HTML emails and manage email templates and content blocks.
• Implement dynamic content and leverage data extensions for personalization and targeting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand campaign goals and optimize for open/click-through rates (CTRs).
• Work closely with copywriters, designers, and creative agencies to bring email campaigns to life.
• Manage sender profiles, list segmentation, audience imports, and opt-out processes.
• Conduct thorough QA to ensure flawless execution and compliance.
• Provide email performance metrics and reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot email code and deliverability issues in collaboration with SFMC support.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM and CASL regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience executing email marketing campaigns via a major ESPSalesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred.
• Strong skills in HTML/CSS for responsive email design.
• Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and deliverability.
• Experience with dynamic content, AMPscript, and data-driven campaigns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
