Job Description: A facility in Rome, NY is looking for a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to provide high-level clinical care, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. APRNs may specialize as Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Anesthetists, or Nurse Midwives. They work in hospitals, clinics, and private practices. Requires a master’s or doctoral degree and certification.
Required Experience/Skills: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; Must have strong IV skills, confident working with cardiac drips, reading EKG strips and all types of wound care
Preferred Experience: Travel experience
Required Lic/Certs: New York State Nursing License, BLS, ACLS; NIH Stroke Certification required before start; Additional 8 hours of CEUs will need to be completed as part of facility orientation
Unit: Med Surg/Stepdown (Floating to MS is required); Nurse Patient Ratio 1:5
Shift: Days (7:00 am - 7:30 pm); Every other weekend/holiday required
Duration: 13 weeks

- Taxable Wages Per Hour: $41.00
- Taxable Wages Per Week: $1,476
- Non-Taxable Housing Per Week: $770.00
- Non-Taxable MI&E Per Week: $476.00
- Estimated Gross Wages Per Week: $2,722 for 36 hours
- Estimated Gross Wages Per Hour: $75.61
