What does a Fleet Technician do at Swire Coca Cola?This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!
Job Details:
Schedule: Shift start times may vary depending on business needs.
Day shift start times: 5:00am – 8:00am
Night shift start time: 2:00pm
Please note that this is a union role, and shifts can change based on seniority.
Pay: $32.00/HR
Responsibilities:
Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED) required
ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred
2 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
