What does a Line Process Specialist do at Swire Coca-Cola?Part of a high performing team that is engaged and committed to World Class Manufacturing performance, ensuring that the safety of our people always comes first, while building a line culture of continuous improvement with a focus on zero operational defects and losses. The incumbent is responsible to develop the line team capability and technical understanding of processes through data collection and loss analysis. The incumbent serves as the Team's expert in troubleshooting / problem solving, the centerline and changeover processes. Accountable for integrity of data systems and loss elimination opportunities to deliver overall line results supporting the improvement of business results.
Job Details:Schedule: 6:30am - 3:30pm (Mon - Fri, OT and weekends, as needed)
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execution of the daily plan, including setting priorities and allocation of resources
Own the Centerline, Changeover, and Change Management DMS’s for the line, including all data analysis, management of targets and documents standards, line health checks, training and coaching of line team members on these processes
Develop Capability - train and coach others on problem solving tools & techniques, changeovers & centerline processes. Own coaching for these areas during planned stops
Support the line team in developing line standards for centerline and changeovers. Ensure the revision, auditing and updating of these documents as necessary
Partner with Manufacturing line manager to prioritize loss elimination efforts based on data analysis (loss trees).
Coach line operating teams on the technical understanding of the line processes
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED) required
Bachelor's Degree / technical certification preferred, or equivalent experience preferred
Lean Six Sigma preferred
2 years Continuous Improvement/coaching experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment, with Hight School Diploma/GED required
2 years Previous experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment, including specific knowledge of problem solving, trouble-shooting techniques, quick changeover, and centerline process. required
2 years progressive experience in beverage production, maintenance, and/or warehouse operations required
Complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with deep understanding of the business priorities.
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support a 24/7 operation
