What does a Senior Network Engineer do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In this position the Senior Network Engineer is responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring all aspects of our internal, local, wireless, wide area data and voice networks to ensure maximum uptime for systems and users. The role includes assisting in the design of network systems and configurations, documenting and managing the installation of new and existing networks, and monitoring network performance while maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Manages the help desk operations, reviews, and enforces service level agreements, while generating end-user surveys to solicit input from the user community then reporting metrics to management.Responsibilities
Collaborate with network architects to design and implement company networks.
Acts as the lead for oversight and support of networks.
Install, configure, and maintain networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and monitoring equipment. Respond, diagnose, and remediate incidents.
Create and implement network security measures.
Conduct regular network performance monitoring and diagnosis.
Manage PCI DSS and DMZ network security design, implementation, and support.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required.
CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional Information Technology required.
5 years IT Networking experience managing and troubleshooting a complex LAN/WAN environment with 10 or more sites required.
Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, Meraki, and Identity Services Engine.
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, RTP, STP, OMP).
Network security best practices with Palo Alto experience preferred.
