Job Summary
The Administrative Director will oversee the overall operation of the facility, ensuring the efficient management of physical and financial assets. This individual will serve as a direct supervisor to Leadership and Senior Staff members, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory, ethical, and legal standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to meet the needs of those served, adhering to policies and procedures consistently.
- Approve all purchases and payroll recommendations, ensuring cost-effective decisions regarding annual expenses and capital needs.
- Conduct Strategic Planning annually in collaboration with Leadership, staff, and stakeholders, informing the development of a long-term business plan.
- Inform the Executive Director of any matters impacting licensure, operations, or accreditation.
- Prepare reports for policy and procedure development, ensuring adequate services for persons served and stakeholders.
- Maintain an updated written manual defining policies and procedures, reviewed annually and revised as necessary.
- Participate actively in preparing for accreditation and regulatory surveys, promoting Continuous Quality Improvement.
- Promote positive relationships with the community at large.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a human service field is required, including Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, or other related fields working with families and children. A minimum of four years of supervisory experience is also required. A Master's degree is preferred, accompanied by two years of supervisory experience.
