Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment proceduresPerform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scansDocument baseline patient informationPrepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient roomsProvide exceptional patient care throughout their visitTake impressions of patients' teethCommunicate effectively and efficientlyMaintain a "team first" and "patient first" mentalityContinuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skillsAdhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standardsRequired Skills and Abilities
Fluent in English; verbal and writtenFamiliarity with dental terminologyAbility to travel to other locations as neededBasic computer skillsEducation & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent requiredCertificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course requiredTexas RDA License required after 1 years of certificationCPR and / or BLS certification requiredPhysical Demands and Work Environment
