The Managing Team Lead, guided by the Claims Manager, is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of Reinsurance assumed, including life and health products and related retrocession treaties. This role aligns with stakeholders such as Actuarial Management, Portfolio Services, Data Analytics & Insight, and In-force Solutions to deliver client value and increase shareholder value. Key responsibilities include claim notifications, data quality management, and maintaining high operational performance. The role also involves contributing to future work skills requirements, recruiting appropriate candidates, and identifying skill gaps within the team.

About You
Must have:
- Minimum 5 years' related experience in reinsurance/insurance market
- Solid managerial experience
- Proven decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Access, Excel, Power BI)
- Willingness to learn new tools and applications
Nice to have:
- Completion of LOMA 1,2 Reinsurance Admin or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week. This role is not eligible for either relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $69,000 to $125,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
