About The Role
We are seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Head of Operations US to lead a high-performing, geographically distributed team. This role is accountable for ensuring seamless, end-to-end operational service delivery across the Property and Casualty lines, while driving operational excellence, service innovation, and superior customer and stakeholder experiences. The mandate of this role also includes the management of regulatory operations. To ensure compliant solutions are delivered in line with the external regulatory environment.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in commercial property and casualty insurance. Coupled with significant experience in servicing domestic US customers as well as International Program clients. A track record in leading leaders of teams through a transformation and having demonstrated change management, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership skills. A proven ability to manage operations with a data- and KPI-driven mindset is critical.
This role reports directly to the Global Head of Business Services, holds a permanent seat on the US Market Unit Leadership Team, and plays a key role in shaping and executing strategic decisions across the portfolio.

End-to-End Operations Management
The estimated base salary range for this position is $192,000 to $306,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Operations Management
- Ensure seamless, efficient, and high-quality delivery of all operational processes from policy administration to customer servicing.
- Oversee policy lifecycle transactions including policy issuance, premium processing, endorsement handling, commissions, and fees.
- Establish and maintain robust governance, controls, and scalable workflows to ensure compliance, efficiency, and transparency.
- Continuously review and improve processes to enhance service quality and turnaround times.
- Ensure seamless, efficient and high-quality delivery of regulatory operations services to ensure compliant delivery in line with the external regulatory environment.
- Regulatory Operations activities include core services and strategies around compliance while managing the external regulatory environment to deliver effective, flexible solutions to business functions while collaborating with other external stakeholders.
- Leading a team of experts which:
- handle rate and form filings including actuarial rate filings,
- provide reporting to statistical rating bureaus and other regulatory bodies
- steer loss control reporting and commercial limited assignment distribution
- facilitate compliance research, competitor rate analysis and policy processing system implementations
- perform periodic reviews to ensure form, rate and policy management system compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Market Unit Head US on all operational matters.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business needs.
- Includes the management of relevant internal and external stakeholders in relation to regulatory operations services.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide data-driven insights to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive, standardized service catalogue.
- Ensure clarity, transparency, and consistency in service offerings across all relevant markets and customer touchpoints.
- Regularly review and evolve the service catalogue to reflect changing products, regulations, and market requirements.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, customer focus, and innovation.
- Benchmark performance against industry standards and drive best practice adoption.
- Lead initiatives to digitize, modernize, and automate operational processes.
- Own and manage the operations budget and cost controls.
- Drive a globally consistent operating model with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead, develop, and empower an operations team, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs aligned with business strategy.

- Effectively lead the team through transformational change and system implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Insurance, or a related field is required; master's degree preferred.
- Background and significant experience in Corporate Commercial Insurance focused on Property Casualty in the US market.
- 10 years of senior leadership experience in global, matrixed environments within corporate commercial insurance.
- Proven success in managing complex operations coupled with a solid track record of having led larger teams through a change journey.
- Expertise in KPI-based performance management, operational analytics, and process optimization.
- Strong change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proficiency with operational tools, technologies, and automation initiatives.
- Fluent in English; Spanish and any other European languages is a plus.
