About the Role:
This position is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of assigned client accounts for the Specialty line of business. Key responsibilities include:
- Accurate and timely administration of assigned client accounts; and manager Cash allocations and disbursements.
- Provide support to team members and stakeholders, sharing knowledge and expertise on administrative best practices and controls
- Understand great teams are better than 'one star'. Have an open mind and explore new ideas and different approaches.
- Actively pursue and strengthen relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through frequent interactions
- Enhance efficiencies to operation's processes, services, and technology utilizing experience and sound decision-making skills
- Utilization of both ad hoc data analysis tools and Swiss Re reinsurance administration systems perform reasonableness checks
- Reconciliation and analysis of client's policy and financial data files
- Must be able to work within tight deadlines to meet Cash close dates along with recency and KPI indicator targets
- Take and pass two LOMA courses within the first 12 months; continual progression to obtain LOMA/ARA designation

Essentials:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance related discipline or a minimum of 1-2 years related experience
- Proven analytical skills that complement strong math skills with the ability to suggest creative solutions
- Uses office tools to maximize productivity. (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Power BI). Including the use of Pivot tables, V-lookups, etc. Skill level should be evident from experience and past projects.
- Proven organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to assemble information, draw logical conclusions and convey information simply and clearly
Nice to Haves:
- Demonstrates understanding of financial reporting requirements
- Proven decision-making skills with ability to exercise good business judgement
- General understanding of reinsurance terms and conditions
Ability to travel as needed
The position will be located in our Fort Wayne, IN office. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week on average.
The estimated base salary range is $56,000 to $92,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
