Swiss-Tech is a precision manufacturing company that is family-owned with a 60-year history. We supply top quality parts to customers in defense, medical and aerospace companies. We are in a growth mode and looking to expand our workforce to help support this. We offer on the job training to develop our best asset, our people.
We are looking to add a CNC Operators to a new re-designed cell that will support one of our biggest customers. The CNC Operator is responsible for manufacturing parts per customer specifications utilizing CNC Single Spindle Screw machines and/or CNC Lathes.
Our current openings are:
- Thursday - Saturday with alternating Wednesdays 5am - 5:30pm
- Thursday - Saturday with alternating Wednesdays 5pm - 5:30am
Responsibilities include:
- Operate CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw Machines and/or CNC Lathes.
- Adjust machine tools to maintain quality specifications.
- Sharpen and replace cutting tools as needed.
- Adjust or replace collets and bushings as needed.
- Replace raw material when needed to continue the manufacturing process.
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Train other machinists to maintain or improve job skills.
- Begin to perform set ups for production parts requiring no more than three axis.
