Swiss-Tech is a precision manufacturing company that is family-owned with a 60-year history. We supply top quality parts to customers in defense, medical and aerospace companies. We are in a growth mode and looking to expand our workforce to help support this. We offer on the job training to develop our best asset, our people.
We are looking to add several CNC Operators to a new re-designed cell that will support one of our biggest customers. The CNC Operator is responsible for manufacturing parts per customer specifications utilizing CNC Single Spindle Screw machines and/or CNC Lathes.
Our weekend shift runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5am to 5:30pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate CNC Single Spindle Swiss Screw Machines and/or CNC Lathes.
- Adjust machine tools to maintain quality specifications.
- Sharpen and replace cutting tools as needed.
- Adjust or replace collets and bushings as needed.
- Replace raw material when needed to continue the manufacturing process.
- Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Train other machinists to maintain or improve job skills.
- Begin to perform set ups for production parts requiring no more than three axis.
