Responsibilities:
- Apply high-quality wood finishes, including stains, paints, lacquers, and varnishes, to various wood products.
- Ensure smooth, consistent, and flawless finishes on all projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols at all times.
- Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines and production goals.
- Troubleshoot any finishing issues and ensure quality control is maintained.
- Take initiative and show leadership potential by supporting team members and contributing ideas to improve processes.
- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced staff, with the potential to step into a leadership role over time.
- Collaborate with carpenters, designers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive, high-quality finished product.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in wood finishing, with a strong understanding of different materials and finishes.
- Ability to apply a variety of finishes with high attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow.
- Desire to develop leadership skills and take on more responsibility.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Previous experience in a leadership role or mentorship is a plus.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
