Accounting Associate – Accounts Payable (Denver, CO) Location: Westminster, Colorado Accounting Associates are responsible for processing Accounts Payable and expense reports. Your collaboration

• Responsible for accurate and timely entry of AP invoices in a high volume environment.
• Ensure accurate and efficient daily processing of employee expense reports, as well as processing of corporate credit card charges.
• Ensure supplier invoices have corresponding purchase orders and are appropriately approved for processing.
• Prepare weekly payment runs.
• Ensure vendors’ records are current, accurate, complete, and verified.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare and process 1099s at year-end.
• Assist with accounting projects.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Your competence Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• 2-3 years Accounting / General Administration experience.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.

Desirable, but not Essential:

• 1 year of college with a business focus is preferred.
• Previous experience with purchase orders.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Compensation: Hourly pay for this position is $18-25/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
