Job Duties
- Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.
- Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
- Travel up to 80% to support customer needs, including domestic and international travel.
- Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.
- Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
- "Hands-on " individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.
- CNC grinding experience, troubleshooting CNC machines, remote support
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
