We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring successful completion within budget, on schedule, and to the client's satisfaction. The position is based in Draper, Utah and focuses on managing multi-level structures and commercial concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of the construction project timeline from planning to completion.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource identification.
- Manage financial aspects, including fee payments, rental equipment, and income/expenses, to protect the company’s interests.
- Ensure the project remains profitable and identify profit opportunities.
- Handle all correspondence between contractors and subcontractors.
- Perform site visits, monitor construction activities, and conduct regular status meetings with project teams.
- Ensure the construction activities proceed according to the schedule.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend revisions as necessary.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Work with Superintendents to manage changes, identify potential issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Respond to RFIs, process contract change orders, and approve invoices and payroll hours.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Build and nurture business relationships to ensure project success.
- Provide direction to project engineers, field engineers, and coordinators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing and supervising less experienced project engineers.
- At least 5 years of experience in building multi-level structures and parking garages (with post-tension experience).
- 5 years of experience in reading blueprints and specs for large commercial concrete structures.
- 5 years of experience handling RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems with data-driven decisions.
- Valid Driver's License.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
