We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee various phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, resource identification, and financial management. This role is responsible for ensuring the success of projects and fostering positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Essential Responsibilities And Abilities
- Oversee all phases of the construction project timeline.
- Play a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identifying resources needed.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses) while maintaining good relationships with clients.
- Handle all correspondence between contractors and subcontractors.
- Perform site visits to monitor construction progress and hold regular status meetings with sub-teams.
- Ensure construction activities proceed according to schedule.
- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend revisions as necessary.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.
- Work with assigned Superintendents to manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Approve all invoices, payroll hours, and manage the billing process.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Build and maintain business relationships essential to the success of the project.
- Provide direction to project engineers, field engineers, and coordinators.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent technical training and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully managing or supervising less experienced project engineers.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience building multi-level structures or commercial concrete projects, with a focus on post-tension experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience reading blueprints and specifications for large commercial concrete structures.
- At least 5 years of experience responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
- Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Valid Driver's License.
