Title: Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor
Location: Twin Falls, ID
Job Type: FTE/Permanent
Shifts: Night Shift(6pm-6am)
How You Will Contribute
You will ensure that all quality objectives, goals, and targets in the factory are met, including regional and global commitments. You will develop and track your department's budget and work to eliminate losses. With your team, you will conduct regular plan-do-act-check assessments to plan how targets will be met, execute the plan, and periodically review progress, taking action to stay on track. In addition, you will ensure strict adherence to all appropriate laws, safety, quality standards, and consumer requirements for all manufactured products. You will manage crisis situations internally and externally in a manner that supports the company's image and policies. As a people leader, you will be responsible for the recruitment and structuring of the department to ensure sufficient resources to deliver plant objectives, set and assess performance goals, and coach and mentor team members.

- Relevant experience in operations, quality, and/or R&D
- Project management and managing multiple priorities
- Experience with commercial strategy processes, product/package development, food safety, plant commercialization, ingredient and package technology, and technical training and coaching
- Effective communication skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of statistical processes and problem-solving techniques
- Experience working with external manufacturing suppliers to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Experience working with customers on quality-related issues.
- 5-8 years of experience in production, manufacturing, and quality
- At least 5 years of experience leading and managing a diverse workforce in a fast-paced team environment
- At least 5 years of experience directly managing food quality/safety, receiving, and delivery processes and programs.
- Expertise in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodology, with a focus on the Quality Maintenance (QM) pillar (preferred)
- Proven success in driving performance improvements in complex environments, with strong leadership capabilities
- Experience in managing food safety and compliance systems, regulatory awareness, and commitment
- Knowledge of quality, sanitation, and warehouse environments
- Ability to motivate others and lead by example
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
