The role involves becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the maintainability and maintenance support of tactical communication systems and related products. Your work will include using data-driven models to develop spares lists, hardware provisioning, perform maintainability analysis, and create Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), as well as other reports in alignment with customer requirements.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver ILS data and contractually required reports per program or customer needs.
- Manage projects or processes with general supervision.
- Communicate with contacts across departments to explain and interpret ILS processes, practices, and procedures.
- Recommend enhancements to systems and processes.
- Work towards achieving operational targets for specific programs with moderate impact on departmental results.
- Ensure efficient and effective customer service through collaboration with internal teams.
- Assist in developing Intermediate Maintenance Manuals with publication writers.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant ILS experience; or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or at least 8 years of prior related ILS experience in lieu of a degree.
- Previous experience in Integrated Logistics Support, electronics/radio maintenance, or reliability engineering.
- Knowledge of RF communication products and VSAT terminal products.
- Experience with spare part analysis, provisioning, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP).
- Experience or certifications in Lean Six-Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Professional communication skills, with experience preparing reports and occasionally presenting to customer groups.
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics software (e.g., Microsoft Power BI).
- Strong skills in inter-departmental collaboration, particularly working with Engineering and Product Service teams.
- Ability to analyze processes or challenges and develop effective solutions.
