Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Adapts to the use and evolution of RIS and PACS systems.
- Actively participates in departmental performance improvement activities.
- Maintains accurate quality control records and ensures proper routine equipment testing and maintenance.
- Willingness to train students and new hires as needed.
- Flexibility to assist at multiple medical center locations and rotate shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology training program accredited by an AMA-approved school.
- Minimum of 3 years of mammography experience for the Senior Technologist level and more than 5 years for the Principal Technologist level.
- ARRT Mammography Certification.
- CRT Radiology License.
- CRT Mammography License.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- Proof of mammography-specific training of at least 40 documented hours (if certified after April 27, 1999).
- Documentation of at least 200 mammography exams performed within the last 24 months (rolling calendar).
- Certificates of at least 15 CEUs in Mammography completed in the last 36 months (rolling calendar).
- Proof of MQSA-approved training of 8 hours each in Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis.
Skills and Certifications:
- ARRT Mammography Certification.
- CRT Radiology License.
- CRT Mammography License.
- BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology technology training program.
- Demonstrated compliance with CEU, exam, and training requirements per MQSA standards.
