Position Summary :
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager with an FPGA / Digital Design background to lead the development of secure communication products. The candidate will manage and lead a team of embedded FPGA engineers, developing FPGA firmware for wireless communication systems and products. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in FPGA / Firmware development and demonstrated leadership in technical teams and projects. Responsibilities include managing resources, schedules, and budgets for FPGA development projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and verify FPGA solutions for product development. The candidate will also oversee the career development of direct reports.
Essential Functions :
- Lead a team of FPGA engineers, including setting goals, managing timecards, and overseeing development plans and training.
- Drive the team's work to completion, ensuring delivery and performance metrics are met.
- Maintain and improve FPGA development processes.
- Create cost estimates and schedules for FPGA development projects.
- Manage the budget and schedule for assigned projects.
- Supervise team members and support their career development.
