Position Summary

This role is responsible for monitoring key process metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing technical solutions that enhance output, reduce cost, and ensure product consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous analysis of process performance to identify improvement areas and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain standard control processes and operating procedures.
- Define and maintain process setpoints for various products and build supporting management tools (e.g., SOPs, setup sheets).
- Support a strong safety culture by promoting and engaging in safe behaviors and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on technological developments and evaluate applicability for existing or future processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve technical issues and share best practices across the technical community.
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement in partnership with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Provide leadership during process redesigns, rebuilds, or major investment projects.
- Lead and execute multiple technical projects related to process optimization.
- Support startup and construction phases of plant improvements or new installations.
- Maintain raw material performance assessments and participate in specification reviews.
- Document findings, recommend improvements, and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial continuous process manufacturing (e.g., process, product, or manufacturing engineer role).
- At least 2 years of hands-on troubleshooting experience in manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to identify and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and problem-solving methods (e.g., RCCA, Six Sigma, 5 Whys).
- Solid understanding and practical application of Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Effective project management skills with a track record of completing technical initiatives.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead projects independently or in cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage and influence a wide range of internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to support off-hours troubleshooting and participate in on-call rotations.
- Able to travel up to 15 days annually as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
