Job Overview:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in orthopedic care. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, managing orthopedic treatments, monitoring patient progress, and supporting recovery.
* Upto $20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.*
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course (Within 90 days of hire)
- 1 year Critical Care Nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the neuro critical care unit.
- Perform patient assessments, including neurological exams and monitoring vital signs.
- Administer medications, IVs, and tube feedings as prescribed by physicians.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to accurately document patient care activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current on best practices in neuro critical care nursing and attend relevant trainings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
