Primary Responsibilities
- Vendor Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact between the organization and the strategic vendor.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendor representatives.
- Ensure vendor compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Issue and Project Management:
- Consolidate and track all known issues, projects, and initiatives involving the vendor.
- Coordinate with internal teams to balance resources and prioritize tasks.
- Facilitate resolution of issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver written communications and status updates for internal leadership and vendor executives.
- Provide regular updates on vendor performance, project status, and issue resolution.
- Develop and present reports and dashboards to senior management.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Align vendor activities with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of vendor management strategies.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Serve as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring risks encountered in daily operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to plan using a risk governance framework and negotiate contracts/SLAs.
- Advanced degree (MBA or JD) is highly preferred.
