Supervisor Nursing - SICU

Job Description
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 20-bed critical care unit specializing in neuro and trauma critical care management. Under the direction of the nurse manager or equivalent leadership, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor ensures an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to provide high-quality patient care. The role involves planning, organizing, controlling, and coordinating department activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective service and the delivery of excellent care. Adheres to established nursing practice standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in the specialty area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Leadership experience
