Job Description
Responsible for functioning as the "scrub technologist" in the surgical suite and other clinical areas, which includes the selection and set-up of the sterile table with instruments, supplies, and equipment; passing instruments to the surgeon during the procedure; maintaining sterile technique; and caring for instruments following the procedure. Surgical Technologists may also be assigned to the following roles: Case Carts, Turnover Team, and Service Line Surgical Technologists. Under supervision, the Surgical Technologist will assist in circulating duties as assigned and assume the defined role of surgical tech, case cart surgical tech, or turnover team member to support efficient patient flow through the operating room.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a course in Surgical Technology.
- Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
- Current BLS certification upon hire.
- Recent experience as a registered Surgical Technologist, or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program may be considered as current experience.
- 2 years of Operating Room experience.
