What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Maker position at Switchback Pizza Company?
Are you an experienced cooking professional? We prefer full-time but will consider someone part-time as well. Must be able to work Thursday-Sunday Dinner service(Part-time) or Wednesday-Sunday. Sundays(11am-7:30pm) are required.
We are a growing company and looking for someone to help us on our pizza line. We make wood oven pizza using local ingredients and hard cider. We have great customers that love our food, remember why you started cooking? The right person will be able to work on the pizza line, prep ingredients and close-up some nights. Must work well in a small team. We can train the right person if you have line cook/prep experience and a willingness/passion to learn pizza making but experience with bread dough/pizza preferred.

We offer paid holidays and vacation, health insurance stipend, staff meal and discounts. $19-$21 an hour plus health insurance stipend if you are full time. Full time is preferred. There is a 3 month new hire bonus and end of year bonus. No late nights, out by 10-11 pm, off on Monday-Tuesday. Please email us your resume.

-Experience in Kitchen experience or culinary school and 1 year experience
- be able follow and make prep lists independently- open and close the line independently
- be able to cook pizza in a wood oven (can train)- stretch pizzas (can train)
- prepare salads- be familiar with local food and sourcing
- be professional and look professional- work well in a small team- have a sense of humor, bonus if you like music-work on a fast paced line
Responsibilities:-closing the line and locking up the restaurant a couple of days a week-working on the pizza line
-cooking pizza in the wood oven
-stretching pizzas
-making salads-follow prep lists-maintain clean kitchen and proper rotation of ingredients-be willing and able to help with dishes on slower weeknights -interact with customers when necessary, we have an open kitchen-Use Toast POS system
