About the Role
This season, we’re assembling specialized Auxiliary Crews to support stadium operations and ensure smooth execution of events and games. These teams will play a vital role in setup, cleaning, and teardown operations, working together to maintain the high standards of excellence at Weidner Field.
Essential Responsibilities of the different Support Crews:
- Early Morning Setup Crew
- Certification Required (by operator): Forklift certification.
Day of Set up includes but is not limited to:
- Implementing road closures and positioning equipment.
- Setting up the check-in trailer and organizing parking.
- Ensure all preparations are complete for the arrival of the next set up crew.
Setup Crew
Manage the physical setup of the stadium by: (Not limited to these items).
- Arranging chairs, lockers, metal detectors, barricades, stanchions, signage, and other equipment.
- Setting up tables, trash cans, tents, promotional materials, and additional items.
- Transition to assisting with stadium cleaning once setup is complete.
Pre-Shift Cleaning Crew
Ensure the stadium is immaculate and guest-ready by:
- Cleaning seats, railings, ledges, suites, common areas, and club spaces.
- Sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash in necessary areas.
Tear Down Crew
Begin teardown operations including but not limited to these specific guidelines:
- Dismantle equipment as permitted during and after the game.
- Dismantle physical set up of the stadium.
- Prepare and stage materials for the next event or game week.
Requirements
- Clear understanding of the task at hand and the ability to execute a plan.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to providing clear and consistent updates.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, crowded environments.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
- Capacity for physical tasks, including standing or walking for extended periods. (Lifting up to 50
lbs). - Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, with a commitment to at least 85% of home games.
Additional Information
Hours: Ranges from 10–30 hours per week, based on event schedules.
Location: Weidner Field, 111 W Cimarron St, Colorado Springs, CO.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Hourly Wage: $16 and up based on experience.
