The Senior Digital Product Manager is responsible for the overall success of their product(s) including managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. Leads cross-functional teams to envision new products and features, enhance existing products, and to manage and prioritize product roadmaps and releases. Determines changes to product designs, features and pricing; and works with the development team and/or outside vendors to accomplish goals. Analyzes and reports product success according to agreed KPIs. The Senior Product Manager will build close relationships with internal and external customers, UX, other Product Managers, SW engineers, data engineers, marketing, and support teams to develop a great end-to-end product experience.
What you will do here:
Consult with business partners to understand current and future business needs. Advocate and create business cases for new financial technologies that give our members a safe, consistent and frictionless online banking experience while increasing retention and use.
Develop, own, and update the product vison, strategy and roadmaps to meet business objectives based on your deep understanding of end-customer behavior, preferences, challenges, demographics, and user-journeys; and based on market and technology direction.
Create compelling presentations that communicate and/or sell the product vision, strategy, roadmap, status and KPI performance to a diverse audience including customers and management.
Work with UX to develop and prototype potential features, conduct usability tests, and perform user research. Gather customer feedback to validate that the product meets stated metrics.
Collect and document requirements in a way that gives stakeholders a good understanding of the product MVP and subsequent releases, captures changes, documents buy-in, and can be used as a basis for User Acceptance Testing.
Translate requirements into user flows and stories that guide UX and the agile engineering team. Actively participate in sprint planning, grooming, demos, standups and user-acceptance planning.
Drive rollout and adoption across the larger organization for new feature and product launches by working with marketing, customer support, retail and other product groups to create and implement Go-to-Market plans.
Track industry trends and adoption, fin-techs, competition, and industry groups to know which products/solutions excel and which are defining the future.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Technology, Business or related field required.
MBA preferred.
5 years experience in Product management required.
3 years delivering leading-edge software products required.
3 years operating in a cross organizational technical environment (Development, Operations, Program Management, External Suppliers, Technical Architecture) preferred.
Excellent communication and people skills -- must work well with users at all levels, including C-Level executives required.
Experience in creating and bringing to market multiple digital products required.
Organization experience and experience managing multiple ongoing projects required.
Advanced analytical skills, be solution driven and result oriented required.
Financial product experience is a plus preferred.
Certified Product Manager (CPM) preferred.
Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner (ACPMPO) preferred.
