Construction Site Project Manager-Bodyshop

PURPOSE:

Join our dynamic team as a Construction Site Project Manager to oversee critical operations at a state-of-the-art automotive bodyshop. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to ensure seamless collaboration between construction teams, contractors, integrators, and Bodyshop Planning. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as thesingle point of contact (SPOC)between plant construction, integrators, contractors, Scout Safety, and Bodyshop Planning teams
• Coordinate supplier progress and provide detailed feedback to Planning leadership
• Conduct daily status meetings to discuss challenges and implement corrective measures
• Monitor project risks, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Manage project timelines, shipment schedules, space requirements, onsite waste, and traffic management
• Track safety-related KPIs and ensure compliance with local, state, and national safety standards
• Provide leadership and guidance to integrators and contractors, fostering a collaborative work environment
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-3 years of experience in project management, engineering, or related fields
• Bodyshop experience and knowledge of production/factory planning
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong project management expertise with proven ability to meet deadlines and handle challenges
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively

FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:

• Location: Blythewood, SC
• Schedule: Day shift
