RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Runs daily VA locator report for vehicle delivery schedule and identifies any open service needs prior to delivery.
- Ensures that deliveries match-up with delivery schedule in a timely manner. Locates priority vehicles for processing.
- Prepares vehicle by filling with gas, washing and vacuuming the vehicle and installing disposable seat/floor mat covers, ID tags and license plates prior to delivery.
- Schedules service appointments with approved service providers for vehicles requiring work prior to delivery. Updates VA system as needed.
- Drives vehicles from inventory storage lot to proper places for pre-delivery work and then delivery location or parking lot.
- Drives vehicles to different areas of assigned facility as directed by management and in accordance with local facility requirements. Serves as a shuttle service to car wash and/or fueling station.
- Maintains assigned vehicle lot(s) in a neat and organized manner. Moves vehicles as needed to maintain the flow of traffic and in accordance with local facility standards.
- Monitors and provides status on location inventory including pool cars, stocked inventory, service, or suspended associate holding areas. Identifies aged inventory and moves to ensure vehicle cleanliness and prevent lot rot.
- Coordinates vehicle delivery with customers and/or team members per location specifics. Stages vehicles as needed.
- Performs vehicle return inspections. Removes license plate and moves contents from returned vehicle to new vehicle.
- Engages in daily team communications. Provides, fosters, and encourages daily team work to increase efficiencies.
- Runs any necessary errands required by management.
- Assists customers with questions and directs them to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Maintains VA shop maintenance duties, including but not limited to cleaning driveways and sidewalks, removing debris, and performing monthly maintenance on the automated car wash, etc.
- Fills or replenishes all vehicle fluids (as needed) and performs other minor vehicle tasks in preparation for customer delivery.
- Understands and delivers to the specific requirements of various customer types.
- Provides transportation for VIP customers as needed.
- Follows all company safety policies and procedures. Reports immediately any and all accidents to manager or supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of cars and car parts, as well as tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of proper vehicle cleaning practices
- Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- 1 years of vehicle experience
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices
- Location: Spartanburg, SC
- Schedule: 7:00am-3:40pm or 7:30am-4:10pm
- Onsite: 100% in Spartanburg, SC
- Assignment Start: ASAP
