Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Executive Officer (EO) to lead the operations of the association. This role will be commission-based, with the opportunity to earn unlimited income based on performance. The EO will be responsible for driving membership growth, organizing events, advocating for policy changes, and expanding the association’s reach within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Development: Grow the association's membership base by recruiting new members and retaining existing ones.
- Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute events, workshops, and networking opportunities for members.
- Advocacy & Representation: Represent the association’s interests to local government, regulatory bodies, and the broader construction industry.
- Networking & Partnership Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including builders, contractors, and suppliers.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage budget to ensure association funds are utilized effectively, while aiming for increased revenue generation through events and sponsorships.
- Marketing & Outreach: Promote the association’s benefits and services to a wider audience, utilizing digital platforms and traditional marketing techniques.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or executive leadership.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passion for the homebuilding industry and community development.
- Self-motivated, with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Previous experience with associations or nonprofits is a plus.
Compensation:
This is a commission-only role, offering unlimited earning potential. Compensation will be based on the success of membership recruitment, event attendance, and sponsorship deals.
