Swofford & Halma Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become part of our team. Apply to join a busy Family Practice that has been serving our community for more than 60 years. Experienced clinician preferred, but new graduates with applicable training are welcome to apply. Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans. Direct or participate in case management and continuing care. Collaborate, refer, and consult with physicians, specialists, and other members of the health care team to deliver effective, efficient, safe, and high-quality care.
We have two Physicians currently practicing at the clinic as well as three Physician Assistants and one Nurse Practitioner. The Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for taking over many of our new patients as well as some of our existing patients. We’re looking for a professional who is passionate about family medicine and conservative care. We focus on encouraging our patients to pursue preventive care, such as wellness check-ups, as well as informing us immediately of changes in symptoms. Four-day work week with Clinic hours Monday & Tuesday's 8:00-7pm Wednesday through Friday 8:00-5pm.
