Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workplace Investigations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting thorough, objective, and confidential investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace policy violations. The ideal candidate will ensure all investigations are executed in compliance with company policies, federal and state employment laws, and confidentiality standards.
The role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, who can manage multiple cases effectively while working collaboratively with legal, HR, and other senior leaders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Investigations : Lead investigations of internal and external complaints related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations.
- Document Findings : Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely investigative reports for review by leadership, including legal counsel, HR, labor relations, and senior executives.
- Evidence Handling : Identify, collect, analyze, and preserve physical and documentary evidence to support investigative findings.
- Compliance and Confidentiality : Ensure all investigations comply with company policies and federal / state employment laws while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Reporting and Recommendations : Present findings and provide recommendations to senior leadership based on investigative outcomes.
- Collaboration : Build and maintain credibility by collaborating with employees, vendors, and stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Case Management : Prioritize and manage multiple cases with flexibility and a sense of urgency, ensuring timely resolutions.
