As an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs, policies, and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement EHS training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
- Manage hazardous waste storage, emergency response, and safety compliance programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with employees, management, customers, and regulatory agencies to maintain a proactive safety culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (explosives/energetics/hazardous materials exposure or aerospace/defense industry highly preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, DoD, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing environments and cultural change management.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and attention to detail in regulatory compliance.
