We are looking for a detail-oriented Regulatory Complaints Specialist to join our team, handling complaints and tickets from regulatory bodies such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Attorney General, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). This role requires strong communication, organization, and compliance knowledge to effectively manage and respond to regulatory cases.
Required Skills & Experience:
✔️ Regulatory or Compliance Experience – Previous experience handling complaints related to regulatory bodies
✔️ Strong Communication – Ability to draft well-structured emails, reports, and responses for legal and compliance teams
✔️ Organizational Skills – Ability to juggle high-volume casework while meeting strict deadlines
✔️ FCRA Knowledge – Familiarity with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations is a huge plus
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Case Management – Handle 20-25 new cases daily, maintaining a weekly caseload of 60-70 cases
🔹 Timely Response – Initiate cases within 24-48 hours of receipt and meet CFPB’s 15-day response deadline
🔹 Collaboration – Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure accurate, well-documented responses
🔹 Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
🔹 Written Communication – Draft clear and professional correspondence, reports, and legal responses
🔹 Multitasking & Organization – Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
