Swoon is actively seeking an Event & Project Coordinator to join the team of our client - a leading company in the food and restaurant services! You'll be an integral part of the team - helping to create well-organized events that bring employees together to connect and collaborate during meaningful moments.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Become an ambassador of the Workplace Services team ensuring all employees have a comfortable and functional work space to perform well in their job
- You will learn the “ins and outs” of what happens behind the scenes of our super busy off environment, and what it takes to help our teams perform at high levels
- Maintain functionality of our office equipment and general office spaces by conducting regular "walk-throughs” to perform ongoing facilities maintenance inspections of public and common areas
- Use our JIRA ticketing system for receiving and responding to service, repair & maintenance requests, determining the nature of the problem(s) and either completing the request or recommending appropriate solutions to employees in a timely manner
- Oversee set-ups and tear-downs of multi-purpose spaces, meeting rooms, and training rooms
- Collect and store packages and mail; including sorting and delivery
- Conduct an overview of the specific needs of the space, including furniture needs, office and kitchen supplies, and pertinent repairs and maintenance
