We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our temperature-controlled service department. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and performing work on maintenance and repair orders
- Performing used car checklists to identify necessary repairs
- Completing multi-point inspections and providing labor and time estimates for additional repairs
- Communicating with Service Advisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Inspecting and testing new vehicles and recording findings for necessary repairs
- Demonstrating excellent guest service skills, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
To succeed in this role, you will need effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
